Hi there,
I’m Margie! The one who runs the show and makes bellies happy.
I am originally from the land where orange groves meet the pristine California coast lines and settled down some roots in evergreen PNW in 2019.
La Charcutie was born in the midst of a pandemic where grocery stores were bare and restaurants were on lock down. Cured meats, baguettes and cheeses were plenty but how does one make it not so depressing? PUT IT ON A BOARD!
I started putting together boards and took tons of pictures and posted them on my personal Instagram. Where local friends were interested in seeing more and eventually wanted a board for themselves. I create them at home for dinner, then started gifting them to friends and bringing them for celebrations and eventually friends became customers and that’s where we are today!

Frequently asked questions
do you deliver?
Yes, I can deliver just about anywhere. However, the farther the destination, the higher the delivery cost.
I’m gluten free/dairy free/vegan/vegitarian, can I still order?
Absolutely! I ask before booking if there are any dietary restrictions. Let me know and I can adjust accordingly.
I don’t want to use my debit/credit card, can I pay a different way?
You never can be too safe with online security so I understand this request! Although I send invoices through a secure and trusted application, Quickbooks, I also accept Venmo, Zelle, Cashapp, Apple pay and Paypal.
Why do you require a 50% deposit for orders over $300.00
When you book with me, I kindly ask for a 50% deposit. This deposit serves as a commitment fee and safeguards both parties in the event of unforeseen cancellations.
I cancelled with plenty notice, why am I being penalized?
I make it very clear at booking about the non-refundable deposit and as per our agreement, the deposit serves to secure the booking and compensate for any inconvenience caused, including turning away potential customers to honor my commitment to you.
Frequently asked questions
I would like to rent props, why is it an extra cost?
Props are intended to add dimension/height to your grazing table but it definitely not required for a grazing table. The fee covers the hauling, fuel to retrieve items and washing/cleaning props for the next use.
how long can a grazing table be left outdoors?
This is a great question! Charcuterie is meant to be eaten at room temperature to fully taste all the flavors. However, it is recommended to not have the table under direct sunlight in the summer/early fall as this expedites the spoiling process. Grazing tables in the winter are a little more forgiving but should not be sitting for longer than 2 - 3 hours. If your grazing table is indoors, same applies as suggested winter time frame.
I would like an outdoor grazing table but what about the bugs?!
I have the perfect solution! I offer “Fly Swatting” fans that are designed to repel insects like flies, bees and wasps from landing on the food. The constant rotation of the propellers makes inhospitable landing points. I can also incorporate fresh herbs that do not smell good to those pesky winged guests.
